I was born & raised in Minneapolis, MN and remain a Viking fan through good times and bad (emphasis on the bad!). I headed to “New York City?!” (feel free to say it just like that old salsa commercial….everyone else has!) the day after graduating college. I spent 3 years working for WYNY, New York City’s only country station, as a Programming Assistant.

The next step was to get on the air, and that happened in Reno, NV. The overnight shift at KHIT led to the evening shift at KBUL and that led to the afternoon shift. What’s left you ask? Mornings of course! So, I took that job at KQNV. That worked for about 6 months before the station flipped formats. Enough of Reno and their small time gambling outfit….it was time to move on to the real thing….Las Vegas!

Six years on the morning show at KWNR in Vegas, Music Director duties and later Program Director duties kept me busy for nearly 11 years. Not to mention my wedding in the middle of it all!

I met my husband, Ron, in Las Vegas. It’s funny how things work out, go ahead and guess where he was born and raised? Yep, San Diego! He was Kearny High School’s star quarterback back in the day! So when the Assistant Program Director/Music Director & an on-the-air shift came open here at KSON it was a perfect fit! Not to mention that now I get to live and work in “America’s Finest City”.
