How cool is this?!  190 Starbucks locations in San Diego County will donate approximately 750,000 pounds of food to Feeding America food banks through the new program to help fight hunger.  That's A LOT of food.... GOOD food too!  How does the program work, you ask?  Starbucks employees will take the food that is still good at the end of their shifts, including Bistro Boxes, breakfast sandwiches, Paninis, salads, yogurts and baked goods and donate it to local food banks who feed San Diegans in need. (Including those living on the streets).  Fingers crossed that more companies will follow suit!  Nice work, Starbucks!
