R.I.P. Mr. Gene Wilder

August 29, 2016

In what seems to continue to be the worst year in celebrity deaths in recent memory, 2016 took another great from us, as Gene Wilder passed away Monday at the age of 83. The beloved actor, writer, director and author was known for such films such as the Mel Brooks classics Young Frankenstein, The Producers and Blazing Saddles, Stir Crazy and See No Evil, Hear No Evil with comedy legend Richard Pryor, and his most beloved and recognizable role as Willy Wonka in the iconic 1971 film Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory. The world is a little less funny today. Rest in Peace Mr. Wilder. Your films will live on forever.
