Keith Urban Leads 2017 CMT Awards Nominations

The nominees for the CMT Music Awards were announced today (May 9). 

Keith Urban had an impressive morning. He received four nominations. Urban is up for video of the year, male video of the year, collaborative video of the year (with Carrie Underwood), and social superstar. Thomas Rhett and Kelsea Ballerini also received four nominations. 

The show, which will air on June 7, will be hosted by Nashville star Charles Easton. The show will feature performances from Miranda Lambert, Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, and Thomas Rhett.

Voting has begun on CMT's website.

The ceremony, by the way, has been moved from Nashville's Bridgestone Arena to the Music City Center because of the Nashville Predators extended run in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
