Winners: 48th Academy of Country Music Awards

Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean, Miranda Lambert take top categories

LAS VEGAS - April 7, 2013 - Luke Bryan appeared to be in shock and in tears as he stepped to the microphone to accept the Entertainer of the Year Award at the 48th Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas tonight.

Bryan beat out some of the top names in country music, like Blake Shelton, Jason Aldean, Miranda Lambert and Taylor Swift to take the top trophy.

Bryan accepted the fan-voted award from presenter, Shania Twain.  Luke Bryan co-hosted the event with Blake Shelton.  

Also winning in top categories, Jason Aldean for Male Vocalist and Miranda Lambert for Female Vocalist of the Year.  With 7 nominations, Eric Church was the top nominee of the evening.  Church notched a win in the Album of the Yea category for CHIEF.
