» Pop, The Question: "The role in the movie is a character named Rosemary," says Taylor Swift of her part in The Giver starring Meryl Streep, Katie HolmesJeff Bridges and others. "It's the ideal situation for me because it’s a great cast, incredible movie, wonderful script, amazing director, small role." Taylor says her time spent with the actors has been a learning experience. "I did all my scenes with Jeff Bridges," she says. "He is just a master.  Learning from someone like that on set I was just, 'How did I get here?'"

In other news, Taylor is currently featured on the cover of New York magazine. The article asks, "How, why, is Taylor Swift the world's biggest pop star?" Much of the answer centers on country music, Nashville and songwriting. Read here.
