Living Better in San Diego

National Alliance On Mental Illness and SDSU Peer Education Program

Airdate: Sunday, July 21, 2013

Mental health and mental illness is the topic of today's "Living Better In San Diego." The National Alliance on Mental Illness San Diego, or NAMI, is the city's voice on mental illness. A mission and goal of theirs is to end the stigma associated with mental illness. Mental health issues are a big thing on our campuses too, including SDSU, where they too are striving to raise awareness about mentall illness and end the stigma.  Joining us this morning is NAMI San Diego CEO, Shannon Jaccard, Diana Bull, a psychologist with SDSU's Counseling and Psychological Services and Aerial Cetnar, who is a student at SDSU and a Peer Educator with Counseling and Psychoilogical Services.
