ALAN JACKSON CELEBRATES QUARTER CENTURY OF HIT MUSIC
On June 26, 1989 – 25 years ago, a then-unknown singer-songwriter from the small town of Newnan, GA, ALAN JACKSON, signed his first major recording contract.…and that’s when a “dream come true” as Alan "rose quickly to became a major new superstar. His calling card first single was "Blue Blooded Woman.'" It just opened the door for a monster string of 12 big hits including 7 #1 songs that made him a superstar.
Twenty-five years later, Jackson is still going strong. He’s sold millions of albums, scored dozens of chart-topping hits, written songs that defined a generation, and entertained country music fans around the world...and he recently announced plans for a year-long celebration of his 25th anniversary in the music business.
