Big Country Showdown at Viejas
 Viejas Casino brings you The Big Country Showdown, a Country & Western Cover Band Contest held in the DreamCatcher at Viejas Casino. The competition will be held every Sunday night from September 19th through October 3rd from 6pm-10pm. Up to five bands will perform each Sunday with the winning bands advancing to the Championship on October 10th.
1st Prize: $10,000
2nd Prize: $3,000
3rd Prize: $2,000

Tori will be hosting live Friday night!!
The rodeo will include: Bareback Bronc Riding, Saddle Bronc Riding, Barrel Racing, Tie Down Roping, Steer Wrestling, Team Roping, Bull Riding, and much more!!
Gates will open at 6pm on Friday, September 24th, and at 11:30am on Saturday, September 25th.

American Diabetes Association Step Out: Walk to Fight Diabetes
Come out and join KSON in the fight against Diabetes. The Step Out: Walk For Cure is taking place Sunday, Oct. 24th at De Anza Cove. Located along the waterfront in beautiful Mission Bay, the walk route is flat and easily accessible to all walkers. Come early and spend the day. Check-in opens at 7:30 AM, the walk starts at 9:00 AM. After the walk enjoy entertainment, the Live Well Fair and lunch provided by Rubio's.
Every dollar raised helps the ADA fund critical reaseach for a cure, provide educational programs throughout our community, host a local summer camp for children with type 1 and family link programs for children with type 1 and type 2 diabetes. The American Diabetes Association also advocates to protect the rights of all people with diabetes. When you walk, you help us stop diabetes!
