Megan Hawker, an Operation Iraqi Freedom Veteran currently works as a therapist at Palomar Family Counseling Service, a non profit community counseling agency.
During her two deployments she saw the horrendous effect that combat, separation and stress had on marriages and family life. When she got out of the Army, she knew that was exactly what she wanted to change!
At Megan's agency, she was recently given a grant to provide free individual, couple and family counseling to veterans- including active service members. She currently has four offices throughout north county- in Escondido, Fallbrook, Vista and Poway. This counseling is FREE, off base and completely confidential.
