Julia Garmo is a bright, beautiful and energetic little girl who is very loved by her parents and 5 other siblings. She was diagnosed with stage 4 Neuroblastoma in November 2013 right after her 6th birthday. She started treatment immediately at Rady Childrens and endured several surgeries and multiple rounds of high dose chemotherapy. She also traveled across the country many times to Memorial Sloan Kettering in New York City where she had multiple surgeries for tumor resection, radiation, and immunotherapy.

She has been off of treatment for over a year now and is thankfully doing very well. She just started 3rd grade and loves to play soccer, be outdoors, and spend time with her family.

She still continues to travel back and forth to NY for routine monitoring and scans to make sure her cancer doesn't come back because there is a high chance of relapse. Please keep her in your prayers and if you would like to know more about her story you can check out her Facebook page
