Old Crow Medicine Show has just released its sixth album, but this one has a bit of a twist to it.

The new album by the country music roots band is a special recording of Bob Dylan’s iconic release, Blonde on Blonde fifty years ago. The new album is called 50 Years of Blonde on Blonde, and is a 14-track compilation that was recorded live in Nashville, Tennessee just as Dylan’s version was in 1966.

The band consists of Grand Ole Opry members Ketch Secor, Morgan Jahnig, Chance McCoy, Cory Younts, Kevin Hayes and Critter Fuqua.

Secor reveals his favorite recording on the album, what the record represents, and more.

Who learned the most from Dylan’s presence in Nashville? The one and only Johnny Cash recognized Bob Dylan’s talent through songwriting and made sure to showcase it in country music however he could.
